Classes

My jewellery making classes are available on Monday and Wednesday from 10am-2pm. They take place in my studio in Oare, just outside Faversham.

The classes are suitable for beginners or those with experience.

As a beginner I can teach you the basic jewellery making techniques through working on projects. These will be made using sterling silver and would include, a ring or bangle, a simple chain and a textured pendant or earrings. This will then lead on to more decorative projects based on your own designs.

As a student with some experience you will have the opportunity to learn more advanced techniques, such as basic stone setting, decorative chain making, and more complex soldering. This will lead to designing their own jewellery projects and to cost out materials needed, with my guidance and support.

All tools and equipment are at the studio for your use. Tea, coffee and even a biscuit if you’re lucky are supplied.

All you need is a notebook/sketchbook, apron or old clothes and lots of enthusiasm!

Please contact me for a chat if you’re interested in coming along.
